Wrapped in Art
My love of textiles and the sewing machine began with watching my mother make clothing for her children.
Working with a collection of random textiles, I alter fabrics using a variety of techniques, including eco-dyeing with plant materials and oxidized metals. I often apply paints, gesso, layering, machine and intricate hand-stitching. These recreated fabrics translate into a collage of artistic creations used for one-of-a-kind remade garments.
You will be Wrapped in Art.
