Created using all repurposed textiles and found objects. Done with textiles, gesso, paints, reversed applique, organic folding, layering, distressed and repaired, machine and intricate hand stitching, embellished with branches, silver ware and collected shells.

Repurposed textiles from. 1945 - 1985 representing my mothers caring for 6 children and our home assesories. The quilt has over 1500 hexagons, hand cut, hand basted, hand sewn and quilted over a 5 year period. It grew by adding reminents of textiles I created with after being influenced by my mother..
